Casa Iuorio’s farm is located in Palomonte, in the Salerno region of Campania, near to Foce Sele-Tanagro & Monti Eremita-Marzano & covers 11 hectares. The soil is clayey which makes irrigation difficult, but because clay is full of mineral properties, the area produces vegetables of exceptional quality & taste. As the area is so hilly, the ground is tilled by hand, with no tractors or other machines being used to cultivate the produce.
Casa Iuorio follow sustainable agricultural practices such as crop rotation, & using plants to deter certain harmful insects.
The vegetables are selected by choosing only those that are perfectly ripe, washed under running water and then prepared by expert hands immediately after collection. Even the jars are prepared by hand.
Casa Iuorio Peppers In Extra Virgin Olive Oil are ideal for antipasti, as a side dish, to fill wraps & sandwiches or on pizza.
Store in a cool dark place, away from direct sunlight. Once opened, store in a cool place, away from sunlight, & consume with 2-3 weeks.
Ingredients: Peppers, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Salt, White Wine Vinegar, Chilli Flakes, Garlic & Oregano.
