Description
Valentina Russo Panorama Amaro presents a deeply aromatic and thoughtfully layered expression of the modern Italian amaro style.
In the glass, it shows a rich, dark amber hue with glints of mahogany, suggesting both depth and concentration. The nose opens with an inviting bouquet of bitter orange peel, wild herbs, and alpine botanicals, underscored by hints of cocoa, baking spice, and a faint resinous pine note.
On the palate, the amaro strikes a careful balance between bitterness and sweetness. Bright citrus oils and gentian root provide a firm, structured bitterness, while notes of caramelized sugar, dried fig, and dark honey soften the edges.
Subtle layers of clove, cinnamon, and liquorice emerge mid-palate, lending warmth and complexity without overwhelming the drink’s clarity. The texture is silky yet lively, with just enough viscosity to carry the botanical intensity.
The finish is long, gently drying, and pleasantly bitter, leaving lingering impressions of orange zest, herbal tincture, and a touch of dark chocolate.
Panorama Amaro is both contemplative and versatile—equally compelling served neat as a digestivo or incorporated into a refined, bittersweet cocktail.
