Villa Matilde Stregamora, is a red wine obtained from 100% Piedirosso grapes, produced by the Villa Matilde winery, which for over 50 years, have been working for the recovery and world reputation of Campania’s native grapes varieties.
Piedirosso is a typical Campanian grape variety, which is also known in local dialectal as “Per’ e palummo”, which describes the local dove’s feet which feeds on the ripe berries as being red.
Soil: Volcanic
Tasting Notes: Stregamora is a tasty red wine with violet undertones. It has a fruity aroma of red berries and notes of rose and violet. Velvety on the palate and a medium finish.
Food matching: Stregamora works well with pasta with tomato sauce, white meat, poultry, grilled fish and medium aged cheeses.
Serving temperature: 12-14 °C
