Description

Furore Rosato from Cantine Gran Furor Divina Costiera di Marisa Cuomo is located in Furore on the famed Amalfi Coast.  These coastal vineyards are perfectly arranged on the stone-walled terraces  along the cliffs at altitudes between 980 to 1300 feet above sea level. The  grapes benefit from sunny southern exposure and a unique micro-climate that  occurs from a combination of ocean currents, mountains and high-pressure  systems. The volcanic and alluvial soils of the vineyards produce relatively  low yields.

Production Area: Cetara and Raito, in the  area of Vietri sul Mare

Grape Varieties: 50% Piedirosso 50% Aglianico

Vinifircation: The grapes are harvested manually, arrive intact in the winery, and after de-stemming and crushing are subjected to pressing. The juice is fermented at a controlled temperature for about 20 days and aged 4 months in stainless steel tanks.

Colour: Light red

Bouquet:Ripe plum on the nose with nuances of wild strawberries and  floral notes

Tasting Notes: Intense pink colour, aroma of fruit and especially citrus fruits. The flavour is complex and balanced with a slight predominance of freshness. Firm impact in the mouth with good acidity and minerality.

Food Pairings: Antipasti, pasta dishes with fish sauce

Alcohol Content: 13.5%
