Description
Feudi di San Gregorio DUBL Rose’. In 2003, Feudi di San Gregorio invested in the production of its first sparkling product. Using the method champenoise and the region’s historic varietals of Falanghina, Greco di Tufo and Aglianico grapes, Feudi produced this new innovative product, DUBL. The wines are named DUBL in honour of the two wineries that worked on this project: Feudi and their French partner, the great Champagne house of Anselme Selosse.
Joining forces with famed Champagne producer Anselme Selosse was a natural union for these unique and high end wines. DUBL is Feudi’s new journey into the future of sparkling wines.
Grapes 100%: Aglianico
Vinification: Classic Champagne Method
Lees ageing: 18 months
When the Aglianico, a full bodied and round tasting grape, meets the effervescence of the bubbles, the result is a soft and mellow sparkling wine, with an intriguing light and bright pink tone. The delicate notes of raspberry, cherry and maraschino cherry evoke creamy and patisserie notes. The body of the sparkling wine envelops the palate with a graceful yet determined flavour.
Its good persistence makes the DUBL Brut Rose’ versatile, suitable for combinations with dishes with an accentuated and intense aromatic persistence, such as prawns with sauce or other shellfish dishes.

*Kerin O’Keefe said of DUBL Rosato: Made with the native grape Aglianico, this fantastic, lightly hued sparkler offers aromas of Spanish broom, acacia, woodland berry, red apple and Mediterranean herbs. The firm, intense palate delivers wild cherry, raspberry, citrus zest and bread crust notes of bay leaf and thyme ride alongside a refined, persistent perlage.
