Description
Located in Roccabascerana, with plots in Candida, Prata, and Montefusco, where the terroir and the climate allow the perfect growing conditions for the indigenous grape varieties of Falanghina , Aglianico, Greco di Tufo & Fiano di Avellino. Agricola Bellaria have been producing wines of exceptional quality for several decades.
The Falanghina grapes however, reach perfect growth and maturation in Roccabascerana about 450m above sea level.
Harvest takes place in October, where the grapes are picked manually. The grapes are destemmed and light pressed for approximately 12 hours, followed by inoculation of selected yeasts. Maceration at a temperature between 12-14°C. Battonage, then stored in stainless steel tanks for 2 months.
Grape Variety: Falanghina
Tasting Notes: Beautiful bright straw yellow colour, on the nose, aromas of citrus, pineapple, white peach. Fresh and satisfying; successful balance between acidity, flavour and volume, never excessive. Full and dry finish.
Alcohol: 13.5%
Serving Temperature: 10C
Ideal With: Hard & mature chesses, roast red meats, pasta dishes with a meat ragu’.
