Feudi di San Gregorio DUBL+ Limited Edition Pietro Ruffo. In 2014 Feudi di San Gregorio became a founding member of the San Gennaro Foundation, a Community Foundation, which aims to overcome social hardship in the Sanità district of Naples through art and culture.
Since then, Feudi di San Gregorio has been working with artists -photographers, painters, designers – for “site-specific” works from which beautiful limited edition labels are born, the proceeds of which are entirely donated to the Foundation, led by Father Loffredo.
In May 2021, Feudi di San Gregorio became a Benefit Company – with the statutory objective of protecting and enhancing the beauty of the environmental, social and cultural heritage of the territory – and last June 2022 it becomes a B Corp.
This journey towards to sustainability, social & economic fairness encounters the project for the San Gennaro Foundation in the most beautiful way.

The Artist
Pietro Ruffo (Rome, 1978) is one of the most appreciated young Italian artists. He studied architecture at the University of Rome before beginning a research fellowship at the Italian Academy for advanced studies Columbia University, New York, 2010. Ruffo’s art is essentially connected to the basic elements of his architecture education: project, paper drawing. Along an intense path of research, the work of Ruffo finds synthesis in extraordinary figurative compositions, made with paper cutouts and pins, ceramic, tiles, or painting, articulated in superimpositions of natural landscapes and human forms, geographical maps and constellations, geometries and traces of writing. The result is a stratified work, with multiple visual and semantic interpretations investigating the great issues of universal history.

DUBL + is a classic method made of Greco grapes, which expresses its characteristic minerality with extraordinary elegance, thanks to a minimum aging on lees of 30 months.
Greco, strongly linked to the small wine growing area of Tufo in Irpinia, is at the centre of the company’s sustainability path, with protocols aimed at safeguarding the beauty of the landscape and avoiding the abandonment of the lands by the winemakers who have cultivated them for generations.
A priceless heritage to be preserved.

Grape Variety: 100% Greco Di Tufo

Vinification: Produced using the traditional champenoise method, (a technique in which the wine is fermented a second time, transforming a still wine into sparkling – happens in the bottle, through the addition of sugar and yeast with a second fermentation occurring in the bottle). DUBL Greco spends 30 months on the lees.

Colour: Vivid yellow with a fine ‘perlage’.

Bouquet: Aromas of ginger, flowers and a hint of nuts with delicate notes of hay and toast.

Taste: In the mouth full, voluminous, fresh taste with an attractive bitter chestnut, honey and impressively persistent mineral aftertaste.

Alcohol: 12.5%

Serving Suggestions: Particularly suitable with sushi, lobster or shellfish risotto. Serve at 10°С
