Two Campania Wines Triumph at Decanter World Wine Awards

We’re pleased to announce that two of the wines we supply from the Campania region have won bronze awards at the prestigious Decanter World Wine Awards 2012. Why not give them a try?

BRONZE MEDAL WINNER: Taurasi DOCG Feudi Di San Gregorio

Full bodied and rich red wine with a plump midpalate and balancing structure to the black fruit and spice flavours. It finishes dry and assertive with lingering vanilla oak flavours.

Brilliant ruby red in colour with a garnet tinge around the rim. Shows deliciously fragrant aromas of black cherry, cinnamon and nutmeg, vanilla and anise.

An inspired choice to accompany game and roasted red meat. Delicious with a venison and pheasant, stout braised pie or ham and pea risotto.

BRONZE MEDAL WINNER: Terredora Aglianico

A young easy to drink style of wine with soft berry flavours and soft subtle oak characters. It has a delightful finish. Perfect to accompany traditional Mediterranean dishes including sliced meats, soups and pasta dishes, lasagna, white meats and light main courses. Serve at 18°C.

The maceration of the grapes, at 24-25°C, does not exceed 7 days in order to obtain an excellent extraction of colour without creating a heavy tannic structure.

The wine also maintains a good aromatic freshness because of ageing shared in wood and stainless steel tanks.
