Description
On the night of Saint John which is the 24th June, as per tradition, the walnuts, hand-picked from the Campania region, are left to macerate unripe in pure alcohol infused with herbs and spices.
After a year, the liqueur, is ready to serve in time for Saint John’s day June 24th.
Tasting Notes: Typically, dark in colour, the nose releases aromas of cloves, walnut and cinnamon. Intense but soft on the palate, with a spicy finish.
To be served at room temperature after dinner, it can be combined with dried fruit and or dark chocolate.
