Luigi is a wonderful local business owner with an amazing range and quality of food and wines from the Campania region of Italy. He is so passionate about his products and really goes the extra mile with his customer service. I created my own hamper as a gift using a range of his products, including Dolce & Gabbana branded pasta! The personalised service from Luigi is wonderful, the wine and food delicious and I can’t wait to order again.
La Torrente Passata
I’m writing this review after finishing the leftovers of the best bolognese I’ve ever made – it’s such a treat to have a ragu that actually tastes strongly of tomato without the the need to throw half a tube of purée into it…! Best passata I’ve used. The difference from the supermarket offerings has to be tasted to be believed.
I would like say a huge thank you on behalf of my wife and I for the recent supply of some amazing pastas, sauces, and – most importantly – wines.
Your knowledge, advice and service was amazing, and especially during these current restrictive time.
Thank you again for your advice, and extremely efficient and cost effective service
We have absolutely no hesitation on recommending you to others.
Thank you again and kind regards
Steve.
These (Alberti Strega Panettone) are delightful! My family & I devoured one each over Christmas last year. Moorish doesn’t begin to tell you how great they are!
Great for presents, amazing to have on the table, and on those long winter evenings.
I really can’t recommend these enough!

In 2010, the then Mayor of Lutterworth, as part of his Mayors Appeal contacted a local wine merchant about holding a wine tasting. “Why not hold a Wine Fair instead” was the reply; “there is nothing like that round here” – and so The Annual Lutterworth Wine Fair was born and 14 years later, with breaks for pandemics and lock downs it still continues.
So – In just over Three weeks on Saturday, the 5th October will see the Annual Wine Fair taking place in Lutterworth.
Once again the Wine Fair will be held in the recently refurbished Wycliffe Rooms, in George Street (next to Lutterworth Library), a convivial venue for those attending.
Members of the Association of Direct Wine Merchants (ASDW), will be converging on Lutterworth from across the country, not just with wines from traditional producers, such as France, Spain, Italy, and Australia but also lesser known regions such as Romania and Slovenia.
Visitors will have a great choice of wines to sample but if they fancy something a little different, we are delighted to announce that once again The Rugby Gin Company will be joining us and also we welcome local brewery Zero Six Brewery with a range of beers and ciders – something for everyone’s taste in fact.
Opening times have been slightly amended this year following requests from visitors. The Wine Fair will now open at 11.30pm and run throughout the afternoon until 5.00pm.
Admittance is just £4.00, allowing visitors to taste, try and (hopefully) buy. So, 14 years on it should be a great day at the Annual Lutterworth Wine Fair. We look forward to seeing you there.
TASTE TRY BUY!
The wine fair is a charitable event with all proceeds going to local good causes.
